A week end of fun and entertainment for the squad - 22+23/11

Dear All

I am pleased to confirm that we will have our sleepover on the 22/11 from 6pm onwards. Details and plan will be posted soon.

Good news : the girls can have a bit of a lie in as the league has decided to cancel all games on the 23rd of november so that we can attend the England vs Germany game at Wembley 3pm Kick off HOWEVER we need to make our way to wembley quite early to avoid traffic...around noon.

Parents: you don't all have to be present - we have plenty of space to drive the girls there otherwise we may take a tube there to avoid traffic chaos and car parking. TBC with you all.

Ed will be finalizing numbers of attendees as I am away for the next 2 weeks as we need to submit our request to the FA asap,  so for now we have 27 tickets request (me included):

We are playing Rushmoor - totally new to me , never seen them play before so assume they are very good and prepare accordingly!

If we can have the same mindset as our 8-1 win over Mitcham and the fighting spirit that we all witnessed last sunday I have no doubt we will go away with our 3 points! I won't be there for the next 2 sundays but will be there in spirit.

We have limited parking spaces available outside our changing rooms, but there is ample free parking for supporters directly across the road in The Canons Leisure Centre which you access from Madeira Road.

Can I ask you to make your visiting managers, assistants and supporters aware of the following facilities?

Male and female Toilets, disabled toilet, home and away changing rooms.

We also have available to purchase tea, coffee, soft drinks, bacon rolls, hotdogs and a selection of snacks.

Please note that we have no grounds-men and we will only be able to inspect the pitch on the morning of the game to determine its suitability to play.   We will endeavour to do this as early as possible on the day.

4-4, down to 10 players, no subs, biased referee : I am Sooooo proud of the girls for their hard work and resilience showed last week - Ed and I were absolutely blown away by everyone's determination to do well and support each other.

Friday training sessions extended with PILATES

Girls

you are all expected to be at the pilates session after training on fridays (45/60min £1 to pay). this is part of the squad request to extend training - Pilates is KEY to core strength and will only improve your fitness level. You will have all felt what strain that a full 11-a-side game with no sub can bring to each of you so Pilate will help reduce the pain ;-)

Be on your best behaviors for Narell please - Julie Penney and Sarah Del Rio will also be there to help
