At home sunday 1st March vs Ascot
Dear all
I am back after a little break away and really looking forward to seeing you on sunday!! we have ascot at home and this is one you are going to want to win.... I'd say it would balance things out nicely... remember the report from our last game against them - we are going to have to be more efficient in front of the keeper guys
KICK OFF 1pm
Meet at 12.15!
Some stats about our efficiency for your consideration tho:

Some stats about our efficiency for your consideration tho:
- 80% ball possession = great ! if you don't have the ball then you spend your time running after it!
- 70% surface occupation = Less threats on our side! most of the game was in their half.... imagine 21 players in one half of the pitch.that's rather crowded right? now, do you understand the point of our small sided warm up drills? you need to have great ball skills in small spaces..and you did brilliantly!
- 10's of opportunities ; you did a great job to "win something" countless corners, crosses, shots, free kicks ....yet 2 goals scored - BIG improvement needed there and we will practice this more.

8th February. Ashtead FC. Away
Once again, we dug in and fought back to hold out for a well earned draw against title contenders, Woking cougars last weekend.
Woking are a skilful team but you held your positions and played some fantastic football, working hard till the final whistle.
Ashtead are the new ones to watch though. We played them first game this season, and took a point with one of our 6.. yes '6' draws, 4-4. They have been sitting quietly behind us in the league ever since, but have a cushion of 4 games in hand. They could very easily contend for the title so they will be wanting to win.
We have proved against the two teams above us that we are a force to be reckoned with. Provided we play our game, stay focussed, and do what we do best, there is no reason why the 3 points can't be ours this Sunday.
Please meet at 9.15am

It's at home on sunday 25th Jan
Teddington Athletics girls YOU ARE AWESOME!!! and you know why that is? because you take on challenges like no other ! and against Ascot you pulled out all the stops ..... IN STYLE ! Ed and I can't me more proud of you. It looked like you kept that sour 8-1 score in mind and were determined to clear your name and reputation.... and you did with a very exhilarating 2-2 draw ! The crowd couldn't stand still!! you gave us a fantastic and entertaining display - THANK YOU
I don't know what were the key ingredients for your outstanding performance on sunday but I have one ask:
=> can each of you capture exactly what is was that made you play the way you did (mindset, clear instructions, challenge, wheatabix whatever it was...) put it in a bottle and have a sip of it BEFORE every single game you are going to play from now on ... Starting with Sunbury!
Some stats about our efficiency for your consideration tho:
Kick off at 1pm St Mary's ground - meet at 12.15.
SO now we know Sunbury got away with a lucky 2-2 draw last time, we know we are better and as such should win.... well not only we should win it but we NEED to win it... the top 3 spots are strongly fought for at the moment! Woking is in the running and Ascot, although loosing some ground, are still quite a pretender for the title ...and us... and therefore EVERY POINTS COUNT! your attitude and mindset is always the make or break so remember this : the stronger we feel, the stronger we believe we are, the stronger we are going to be on the pitch... your strength is your unity and keeping your football simple!!
We play together, we win together, we loose together (although we won't loose)

18/11/15 Ascot away. League leaders. We can do this!!!!! meet at 10.15am
This is a real 6 pointer!!!
Take a look at their match report from the last time we played them.
http://www.ascotunited.co.uk/fixDetail.asp?sec=4&age=27&team=143&seas=2014&fixID=23287
They were surprised it wasn't a closer result. They may well now be a little too confident for the return match. Lets work double hard at training this Friday and give them the game we are capable of.
